Maggie the Ranter

I bought this book when it came out, and have been waiting for a good time to read it---and yay! I finally got to!

I really enjoyed the suspense and action of this series....along with the character of Lizbeth.

Some downsides...sometimes there is a bit too much infodumping in re: politics in sweden. I couldnt make myself care, and it was a bit too much. There was an odd attention to detail, descriptions of the miutia of everyone's day, down to what they ate for breakfast, and how long they took in the shower. Blomkvist was REALLY shallow. Yeah, some people are like that, but it made me wish some of the attempts on his life would be successful, just because of the cavalier way he treated women, and then would wonder why they were upset....but I guess that is realistic!
Anyway-the story ended realistically (for Lisbeth anyway) and enjoyably. Really liked this series!
